There’s a lot to to be said in favor of rainy days.
One… it’s been a very dry 5 weeks… very hot too.
The trees and grasses are browning out… wild flowers are wilting… and the little bit of rain we have gotten has had no positive effects and has only served to make the heat fill days and nights all the more humid. Repeated hot & humid days has drained everyone’s energy… especially mine. So a couple of cool days… high 68 degrees… 100% cloudy… with a chilling breeze… well… it’s a welcome break. Starting to feel a bit revitalized. Perfectly alright if it stays this way all week. Maybe a good nights sleep… and I’ll be ready to do something again. Think we could all use a break from the heat. Dramatic extremes for hot and cold, rain & draught, snow & deserts, dramatic weather patterns… history repeats it’s self… just as foretold by the Mayans. Think about 12/21/2012.
Just makes you wonder… just where did they get all their knowledge from… learned or gifted by visitors? Odd that modern man with all the advancements are just discovering and verifying what the Mayans knew 1000 years ago…
