Generally I don’t say much about the negative stuff… especially during the Holidays when there is so much to enjoy.
November & December has been a real test to being upbeat. I have had a coughing & hacking thing for over 4 weeks now… way beyond all tolerance. Shelly has been sick for 3 weeks… 2 visits to the doctor… 5 different medications…and still only slight improvement. Truck has had over $2,000 in maintenance… and the trailer has 2 new tires and is getting 6 new shocks, 2 axles, and a leaf spring. I think there’s a song in there somewhere…. I’ll work on that. Not to really go there… since it’s better than snow… but it’s either been too hot… 85… or too cool… 45. Anyway… Hope everyone is warm, safe, healthy, and happy… 6 days until Christmas. Did I mention aches, pains, sore muscles, cramps, headaches, or that just plain yucky feeling all over… well… I still have a smile on my face… and a Disney Christmas Song in my Heart. Ready to go to Hawaii. Not that I’m actually going there… Sunny 70-75 degrees… But I’m ready too! … as soon as I win the Lotto with that ticket that I didn’t buy!
