A Moment to Reflect…

ssc110610SMALL

Hoping everyone has a great day and takes a moment to reflect on the American Tradition of Honoring those that fought to establish this country, their beliefs, hopes, and dreams for a better world and a new way of life. Remembering those that have made the ultimate sacrifice to not only maintain that freedom and those dreams, but also fought the world over to bring freedom to others around the world. Perhaps it was best stated during the civil war… we are not an army that fights for land or possessions, but for the first time in the history of the world, we are an army that fights for the freedom and rights of others. Something that still rings true to this very day. Veterans and patriots that have fought for not only their freedom, your freedom, but the rights and freedom of many others the world over.

“The Constitution of the United States of America,

is Not an Instrument for the Government to Restrain the People…

It is an Instrument for the People to Restrain the Government”

- - - Patrick Henry.

It’s disheartening that Politics, no matter the party,

are not patriots of the Constitution,

and the dreams and beliefs on which it was based…

and the concepts of Freedom and Justice.

The lack of restraint of Government,

dishonors all that have served as patriots.
