Is there other intelligent life out there? Again, the possibility is good that there is intelligent life out there… perhaps smarter and more advanced than us. Have they visited this planet hundreds or thousands of year ago? Again… not outside the realm of possibilities. Are they still visiting now? Who knows? And if being from another planet having visited the Earth… what kind of influence did they have on early mankind thousands of years ago? How would they have been perceived? All good questions… and the only facts are thousands of scattered bits and pieces of information both in text and drawings. 
We’ll… an open mind to the possibilities pretty much leaves the possibilities… wide open. Beliefs and opinions aside… there is a tremendous amount of information… facts if you will… that indicated that some type of being or beings with super natural advanced abilities ( at least as they were perceived by ancient mankind) has visited all ancient cultures around the globe and had some kind of impact on mankind and their civilizations. Whether they were perceived as Gods or just super beings… something happened and was factually recorded in their written history… and it happened all over the world. Generally all cultures have references to what they perceived to be their Gods. All religions are based on this very fact, and they all started with some kind of real influence. All religions regard their Gods as being a super natural power or being that is not from this earth. That’s a plain and simple fact.
So given the facts, and all the evidence from past cultures, there was a physical presence that influenced their lives… and influence so profound that they were elevated to the status of Gods.All over the world scientists have found and are still finding more evidence of what ancient man wrote or drew to leave a record of beings from the “heavens” that were perceived to be Gods. They recorded the super natural abilities and powers they processed , the vehicles they used, which where mostly rationalized and described to their level of understanding, and how they interacted and influenced their peoples and cultures. The same stories are told and depicted all over the globe, different names and places, but the same general story.
So the next jump in logical reason is to examine the influence that they had on humans. It only stands to reason that they either showed humans how to accomplish or build things, or perhaps actually built things for themselves when they were here on earth. Things that were far beyond ancient capabilities and technologies. So what did they build or teach or influence humans to build. There are structures all over the world that defy ancient technology, but that’s another wide open topic for discussion and debate. The evidence of structures that were left behind still perplexes modern technology. Some things can be explained as immense labor projects that due to a lack of technology took many years to build. Like the Great Pyramid… old theory explains that 50,000 workers worked 20 years to build it, moving 2 ton blocks of stone and on average and placed on stone every 2 minutes, up a earthen ramp that would had to been over a mile long to reach the 400 foot elevation of the pyramid. It might have worked that way, certainly not practical since there would have been several times more material just in the ramp than what was in the pyramid itself. Not practical and bordering on impossible. Not to mention the technical skill needed to do precise measurements and precision construction techniques that would rival and exceed modern capabilities. So how much influence existed, how much intervention was there, or were things simply done by the visitors themselves with superior technology? Some theorize that mankind developed his own technology, applied it, and than forgot it to future generations. Logical?
Hard to believe that mankind had the inclination to do these immense building projects, constructed it the most difficult way possible, and with such advanced techniques to rival or even surpass today’s abilities, and than lost that knowledge to future generations… now that’s a stretch… but when you only consider one possible line of reasoning, that mankind built all these advanced structures with limited technology… well… all that is left to to rationalize with the knowledge and ability of the time, that millions of man hours and impossible things were accomplished doing things in the most difficult hardest way to do them. 
Not very logical, but when you explain things based only on the humans accomplishing all these things… well… the logical methods to explain how they accomplished all this becomes less and less practical and outrageous.
So what am I saying. Well despite the lack of absolute overwhelming proof and facts of alien visitors, all that is left is all the thousands of bits and pieces of evidence both in text, drawings, and structures, and the advanced concepts of mathematics, astronomy, and construction techniques, as well as the indication that mankind regarded these beings as Gods… well… draw your own conclusions.
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, believed by others to be a duck, see evidence left behind by the duck that could not have come from anything else, but I physically can’t find it… well… do I dismiss the fact that a duck is real and exists or existed?
So what is this all saying… ya just have to draw your own conclusions. But if the truth based on facts ever come to light and we know the answers to all our questions. I am probably going to be a lots less surprised or shocked than most. In fact, the final pieces to the puzzle of life will be in place, just like the last few missing pieces of a puzzle. You already can see the picture and the last final pieces put everything in it place to clearly see the entire picture. Beings not from this Earth, ancient visitors believed to be Gods by ancient mankind, resulted in stories told and handed down through the centuries… beliefs, tenets, creeds, and religions passed down through the ages.
Mankind generally needs something rock solid to believe in that is a never changing constant… religion… traced back to earliest times… where and how did it all start. No doubt based on actually happenings and not merely made up… so it’s all real… it’s just a point of perception and interpretation… which is why we have so many different religions in the world… but they all have the same root basis… an all powerful being or God that now doubt wanted mankind to prosper and advance and treat each other in a human way with something more than an animal mentality. Wouldn’t it great if this way the human experience. So… when or will they ever return? Do they still exist? Why are they not here now? Will we ever have the absolute factual truth about everything? Is the truth waiting for us to discover it somewhere? Might we never know? Who knows. But it would be nice to finally know who they were, these ancient visitors that were deemed to be Gods by ancient mankind… and where are they now? Perhaps predictions about 12/21/2012 and with the emergence of a new age comes new knowledge.
Perhaps proof of secrets that are already known by a select few.
