The summer at a glance… well… we are both working 40 hours each per week… there is virtually nothing in Hillsville we haven’t seen… visiting surrounding towns and places have run their course… new things to do are at a premium… so… life here is kinda routine. No great new entries to make other than plans for the future… or Flashbacks to the past!
The sky is blue… the grass is green… the trees are tall… the rain is wet… and life goes on… day after day. There’s always the little things that happen day to day… but not much that is note worthy. Having lots of fun with Brianna… it’s a treat to watch her grow each passing day. Time goes by quickly. We now only have 6 more weeks to work, and only 8 weeks before we head back to Orlando. Time does go by much too quickly when you get older. But like I said… there are those great little moments, to see Bri’s face light up at the sight of dragonflies or humming birds. And those words of wisdom that she shares with me from time to time. The other day riding up the winding mountain road, I was getting a bit car sick while trying to do something inside the truck ( rather than looking out the window)… Bri told me “ That’s okay Poppy… just pull the mirror in, and you’ll be fine”… well… okay! Had not tried that before… Thanks Bri! Plus the mirror being pulled in helped with all the tree branches whapping the mirror on the narrow road… so it was a good idea!
But like I said… the sky is blue, the grass is green…
and we are in Hillsville. Need I say more?
