The Season is now over here at Lake Ridge.
The last day of Activities is over, just need to close up the Craftsroom and pack away activity “stuff” for next season.
It’s been a nice fall season here and we especially enjoyed seeing the fall colors that we haven’t seen for 6 years now.
I’ll also miss the walks in the woods.
We are going to delay our departure a couple of days from the original plan to relax a little and pack. That will give us a refreshed start to our travels. It will be a slow three days of travel for the 68o mile trip.
We have enjoyed having Kayla & Brianna stay with us for extended vacations during the Summer & Fall. We are delighted at the thought of them joining us, have a great time when they are here with us, have tears when they go home, and fond memories to last a lifetime. Some how no matter how much time you spend with them, after they return home, it always seems that you just couldn’t fit enough time with them into their visit.
We had a wonderful staff here this year, and Steve & Willa, our friends and the resort managers, will certainly be missed here next year…. it won’t be the same without them. Things change, people move on, but I’m certain that we will see them again at another resort sometime in the future. The nature of Rving is to enjoy one area and move onto the next… one adventure after another. Staying in touch with old friends, making new friends, and experiencing new places. Looking forward to heading west someday… just two things holding me back… family & the grand kids… and the overwhelming feeling that when I get out west… I won’t want to come back!
Next stop… Disney and the other Orlando attractions…. a little work… a little play… and a chance to relive the Disney Magic… which never looses it’s appeal… all over again!
