Life's Benefits

Lifes benefits and 

appreciating those benefits. 

It's human nature to appreciate lifes benefits as you get older.

Why? Well, the older you get, the more you easily know just how far you and humanity has come. Especially from a technology standpoint. 
My grandfather grew up when horses and the horse carriages dominanted transportation. Electricity was young, and oil lamps and fireplaces for warmth were still widespread. Wood fired stoves provided indoor cooking. Ice boxes with blocks of ice provided indoor refrigeration to keep foods fresh.  Motor cars were just starting to become commonplace. The telegraph was the king of long distance communication. Hand written letters were a mainstay. Wired Telephones in cities were in still in its infancy. 

Naturally advancements progressed for my father growing up.

For myself, I grew up knowing what their lives were like. And building on my experiences as technology and modern conveniences progressed, we lived with in the beginning of another age of modernization. Modern refrigerators,  natural gas for cooking and heating. Wired phones to direct dial numbers, or operator assistance for long distance calls. We carried 10¢ for calls home via public pay phones. AM transistor radios made radios and music and news portable... followed by FM channels.  Music records... 33-1/3... 78s... and 45s made personalized choices for music available in your home. 

I grew up with countless advancements in every aspect of my life. Leading us to everything today... giving us the most modern of technologically advancements. Everything that today's young people absolutely take for granted. 

OMG. All the advancements with knowledge, communication, transportation, smart phones, television streaming, music streaming, internet... Everything that has advancing by huge leaps. 

My generation was amazed, welcomed, and appreciated all the advancements over the years. Young people today having so far limited lives, seem to not only take everything for granted,  but view everything as an entitlement... appreciating nothing and always expecting more. They have no concept of what once was, and do not  appreciate all the changes, the evelotion to arrive at everyday technology & the modern marvels we all enjoy today. 

So,  where does that leave us.  Older folks that are amazed and appreciate todays marvels. Young people that do not appreciate how we got here ... and take everything for granted. 

Their strongest feelings: 

Loss of anything, or control beyond themselves is an attack on the rights and freedoms.

Life should be fair. 
When life isn't what they think it should be... They are offended.

Intimately... Everything is about them.

They have no idea what life was before them.

At what point does society need

to STOP saving them? 

They say its a disease...

and that may be somewhat valid.

But it all started with bad CHOICES.

Bad choices over and over again.

Repeated bad choices knowing the risks.

Still... taking the risk. 

Old school... growing up we always suffered 

the consequences of our actions.

Student Loans

They will continue with higher income. 

I had to pay back my student loans

My friends had to pay back their loans. 
Everyone before us had to pay back their loans.

So WHY should student loans be forgiven 

at the expense of everyone else?

Are they going to give back their degree?

Is the government going to reimburse me for everything I've already paid? No!

To a generation that feels entitled.

They have more spending money for "wants" than most people ever did.

Refs are indeed human and miss something or plainly get it wrong. But this year seems really bad. Yall use to say it all evens out in the end. But not this year. Some teams are getting the short end of the stick... then beaten with it.

How many people truly listen to anyone else? 
If they are under 40... Not too many. 
If they are under 20... None.

Most are too busy expressing their views 

and trying to convince others to agree with them. 

How much do you learn from listening to yourself talk?

Almost nothing if anything. 
Probably reinforce inaccurate beliefs.

So... they learn nothing.

Other than to repeat patterns that serve no positive purpose.

Clearly many are teaching young people all the wrong things. Both by what they tell them, and what they learn by watching. Unfortunately they only learn the negatives. All the negatives that keep them from being happy. Every negative emotion to control every aspect of their life. And its all encouraged by everyone else that's ruled by their emotions. Sad ... Truly Sad.

Green & White were favorite colors.

Note the modern advancements. 
Now... The rooms have hot water...

and they are heated for cooler weather. 
Ultra modern... even have a swimming pool.

It's a new day... the day after election. 

You truly can not believe what you hear before the election.

(its all dis-informatiom to adversely influence voters)

They tell you who to fear, who to hate... it all negatives.

The hotest issues... economy, the border, abortion, LGBTQ rights. 

These were all used to incite fear and division. 

FACT: We had 4 years of economic hardship... That's not a campaign rhetoric.

FACT: Four years of the world seeing the U.S. as begin weak. 

FACT: We had 4 years of government giveaways to illegal border crossers that never paid into the system, while we who worked all our lives and paid into the system loose more and more benefits that we paid for.

SO NOW... WHAT'S DONE IS DONE. COME TOGETHER, UNDIVIDED, IN A POSITIVE SUPPORT TO MAKE LIFE BETTER.

So if you are seeing RED because your candidate didn't win... and BLUE because your candidate lost... It's time to come together moving forward... not from what you were fear warned might happen, but to an actual new direction.

ABC & CBS this morning are STILL presenting  FEAR & DIVISION of what they say will happen... STOP LISTENING to those that are FEAR  mongers... they are not helping.

Most people support different hot key issues on different canidates. You like different candidates on different issues. 

The key issue... is not conjecture over what might happen, but what already happened... the hardships of the economy that's a fact... as is failure of the last four years to help the economy.  

Just my thoughts... Y'all have a good day... Without fear of negative campaigning rhetoric.

It is a shame that other key important issues didn't fall in line with the economy which clearly was the most important issue facing the majority of voters. It does mean that they were any less important... Difficult to accept that other issues might suffer. NAMELY  LGBTQ COMMUNITY, ABORTION, AND BORDER ISSUES. 

NO ONE CANDIDATE COULD MEET ALL THE CHECK MARKS. 

THE PRESIDENT, CONGRESS AND THE COURTS NEED TO KEEP EACH OTHER IN CHECK.
